This is available from the owner in Madison Wisconsin. email him at ashineline@gmail.com I'm very familiar with the coach and feel it is a bargain at $25,000. These are just a couple high points done at my shop:
- Modern hub & bearing
- Ackerman steering
- braided SS fuel lines
- rebuilt transmission with park added (by a reputable Bozeman shop as stout as possible)
From the owner:
I have for sale a very well sorted 1989 Vixen21 SE, having traveled only 91,000 miles. This
coach is up to date with all the latest design improvements developed by the members of the
Vixen Owners Association (VOA). Visit VixenRV.org to learn the history of these amazing
vehicles.
Power comes from the legendary GM 3800 V6, and was rated at up to 22mpg. The
transmission is a four-speed automatic with overdrive, which was rebuilt by Vixen repair facility
(AFAB) at 80,000 miles. During the rebuild, the park components were added to the
transmission as well as the shift mechanism. The roof A/C, generator, and all appliances work.
This Vixen is ready to take you on your upcoming camping adventure. The sale will include a
Garmin RV GPS with built in wireless backup camera.
Please understand, a Vixen is much like a classic car, that said they require regular
maintenance and TLC. An individual with good mechanical ability makes for a good caretaker
of these vehicles. You also need to be a people person, as individuals will stop you at every
campground, gas station, and restaurant wanting to talk with you about your Vixen. I take it to
car shows and give tours for hours on end. Are you ready for your Vixen adventure?
