This gadget stops your fuel gauge from bouncing +/- a half a tank.  It smooths out the reading so you don't have the needle wagging and the low fuel light flickering for the bottom 3/4 of the tank.  This does not make the gauge read more accurately so if you currently run out at 1/2 tank you will after the install too.  Installation is fairly simple and does not require playing in fuel!
